Configuring your SCM

In most cases, your SCM is detected automatically and will require no further action to submit a code review. However, if your SCM was not detected, you will receive an error.
Note: SCM settings are applied across the entire solution. You cannot configure SCM settings on a project-by-project basis.
To configure your SCM settings manually:

Visual Studio

Right-click on your solution and select Klocwork Solution Properties > SCM Settings.

This opens the SCM Settings dialog. If you are using Perforce or Git, you can enter your settings manually. TFS, Clearcase and SVN can only be auto detected.

Eclipse

Right-click on your project and select Properties > Klocwork Code Review.

This opens the SCM Settings dialog. From the drop-down list, you can select your SCM.
Note: In cases where you don't have a pre-installed SCM, and if you use Perforce or Git, you may need to configure your SCM settings manually.
