Build configuration

This section provides administrators information on how to customize build configuration with the Klocwork tools. It also explains how you can tune your analysis to get better results.

Alternate build methods for Visual Studio

If you are unable to create a build specification for your Visual Studio C/C++ project with kwinject, you can use an alternative build method. For more details, see Alternate build integration methods for Visual Studio C/C++ projects.

Tuning C/C++ or Java Analysis

Tuning allows you to increase the accuracy of the Klocwork analysis by finding more real defects, or reducing the number of false positives and unimportant issues. For more details, see Tuning C/C++ analysis or Tuning Java analysis.

Adding an unsupported C/C++ compiler

If your compiler is not on the list of supported compilers, you can submit a ticket with Klocwork Support to provide compiler configuration for you. For more details, see Adding an unsupported C/C++ compiler.
