Adding compiler options to kwcheck

Similar to kwbuildproject, you can apply options that control Klocwork compiler options used by kwcheck/kwgcheck. They can be applied to either command with the option --add-compiler-options, as follows:
  1. Create a file named external_config.txt.
  2. In this file, specify the Klocwork compiler options in the format "additional_compiler_options=<Klocwork compiler options>". For example:
    additional_compiler_options= -I "C:\path\to\some\dir1"
    To pass multiple compiler options, separate them with a space, and surround the entire string in quotation marks. For example:
    additional_compiler_options= -I "C:\path\to\some\dir1" -I "C:\path\to\some\dir2"
  3. Save the changes to the external_config.txt file and place the file in the settings directory of your desktop project (by default, the settings directory name is.kwps).
  4. Re-run your analysis to apply the changes.
