Why are my files grayed out in the Project Navigator?

If your C/C++ source files appear grayed out in the Project Navigator, this means that you haven't yet set up a working set to analyze either your whole project or groups of files that interest you.

Although the files appear grayed out, you can still view your source files by double-clicking the desired file(s). Opening a source file triggers continuous analysis (if you're not using Klocwork Desktop in remote mode, that is). Instructions for creating working sets are provided here.

You might want to analyze the whole project to get a complete list of system issues, so that you can see your backlog in Klocwork Desktop.

For more information, see Getting started with Klocwork Desktop for C/C++.
