Select Server Project dialog in Eclipse

The Select Server Project dialog notifies you that source files selected for code review are from multiple local projects connected to more than one server project.

To create one code review for all selected files, you must select a single server project.

For example, you selected:

  • source files from ProjectA, which is connected to SithWars on http://acmedev:8070
  • source files from ProjectB, which is connected to Farpoint on http://feldspar:8080

The Select Server Project dialog prompts you to select either SithWars or Farpoint to launch the review.

If any of your local projects are unconnected, the dialog also allows you to connect each to a server project by clicking the hyperlinked project name.

If you prefer not to select a single server project for your code review, you need to launch separate reviews for each project.

What's next?
  • Proceed with your code review setup as described in Setting up a pre-checkin code review from your IDE.
  • For instructions on participating in a code review, see Participating in code reviews.
