LDAP server not detected

If after setting up LDAP access control using kwauthconfig, you click Test Connection and you see a message that the server type is not detected, it means that your LDAP server is not supported. See Supported LDAP servers.

However, Klocwork uses the most common group membership attributes by default, so it's likely that your server's group membership attributes are supported, even if your server isn't. Check your group membership in Klocwork Static Code Analysis to find out.

Verifying groups

  1. In Klocwork Static Code Analysis, go to Security > Manage Groups.
  2. Click a group in the Groups list and verify the users in the group, and/or click a user who belongs to one or more groups.
    If:
    • Klocwork does not recognize membership information, the groups would be empty. Contact Customer Support.
    • If group membership is OK, then you don't have to do anything else.
