Java installation cannot be found in Jenkins or TeamCity CI integration

If the location of your Java installation cannot be located during a build, try the following:

For Jenkins:
  • Go to Manage Jenkins > Configure System > JDK > , and select Add JDK. Specify the location of your JDK installation. Uncheck 'install automatically' if it exists already and specify JAVA_HOME in the relevant field.
  • Go to Jenkins > Manage Jenkins > Build Executor Status > Node > Configure. Add your JAVA_HOME as an environment variable for the node.

For TeamCity:

For TeamCity, Java is set when the agent is launched as an environment variable. If you are having trouble with your Java installation with TeamCity, see the TeamCity help documentation
