Failed to start agent on port

If you are using Klocwork Desktop in remote mode and you attempt to start the remote desktop agent (kwdtagent), but see the message:

'Failed to start agent on port: 9011. Please specify port you want to run agent on with the option "--port"'

You can either:

• identify a specific port number
• use 'auto' if you want kwdtagent to test a range of ports (9011-9040) and to start the agent on the first available port in that range

Examples:

kwdtagent -pd /space/dev/C++TestProj/.kwlp --port 8787

kwdtagent -pd /space/dev/C++TestProj/.kwlp --port auto
