Build specification

A structured log of your build. It contains the following important information about the source code that will comprise your Klocwork project:

  • what source files were compiled
  • what object files were created
  • how object files were grouped into libraries/executables
  • what compiler options (such as include directories and macro definitions) were used for each source file
  • the current working directory at the time compiler/linker was executed
  • which compiler was used
  • compiler configuration, that is, what include directories and macro definitions are implicitly used by the particular compiler

The engine needs up-to-date information about your build settings in order to provide accurate analysis results.
