Analysis fails with exited and exception messages

If your "exited", "exception" or "REPCXX" message indicates a database loading or propagation problem, see Database loading and propagation errors.

If you see an error like the following during the compilation stage of the integration build analysis on AIX:

Failed to allocate more memory!
kwcc:Error: '/space/klocwork_server/exec/powerpc-ibm-aix5/REPCXX' exited with code 11

Check the setting for the LDR_CNTRL environment variable. The default value for this variable is 128 MB for a 32-bit application (such as Klocwork).

Try setting a larger value for this environment variable, and resume the integration build analysis.

Typically though, in situations where you see messages indicating "exception", "exited with code <number>" and/or "REPCXX", the build cannot be resumed.

You will need to provide the following information Klocwork Customer Support:

  • the full build log
  • the parse errors log
