About Builds/Dates

The Builds/Dates setting in Klocwork Static Code Analysis allows you to specify a number of builds (for example, last 10 builds) or time frames for builds (for example, past 7 days or between calendar dates you select) for trending-type reports such as Citing Activity.

There is also a selection box listing all available builds. You can select one or multiple builds. A "build" refers to a Klocwork analysis.

Some reports, such as Trending or Metrics reports, focus on events captured in the build over time. For these reports, builds are always shown even if you select a date range. The builds shown occur in the selected time frame.

Other reports, such as Citing Activity or Fix and Citing Backlog, focus on activities that occur between builds. These reports always show dates.

The Builds/Dates setting is not available for reports that are applicable only to a single build, such as Top Issues.
