When you see the message, " Cannot perform project synchronization: No system builds exist for the project 'myproject'. The defect issue synchronization stage was skipped, " it means that the Klocwork Server does not have an existing build analysis for your current project, and as a result there's no issue data to synchronize between your desktop project and the integration project on the Klocwork Server.

The above message displays for Klocwork Desktop, IDE plug-in and kwcheck users when your connected desktop project fails to synchronize with the server project. Synchronization problems are indicated with this icon: Image:sync_problem_icon.png . Mousing over the icon displays the sync error message.

You can still analyze your files or project and cite issues, but synchronization won't occur until an integration build analysis is available.

You may want to contact your Klocwork administrator to find out when a build analysis will be available.

You'll know Connected desktop and synchronization is working again when you see the Project is synchronized icon.
