Cannot perform project synchronization - No common files with a project on the Klocwork Server

When you see the message, "Cannot perform project synchronization: No common files with a project on the Klocwork Server. Either the wrong Klocwork project is selected, or the build specification is corrupt", it indicates a file mapping problem between your desktop project and the server project. To resolve the issue, you need to:

  • Verify that you're connected to the right project on the Klocwork Server, or
  • Re-create your build specification (only if you build outside your IDE or if you're a kwcheck or Klocwork Desktop user).

The above message displays for Klocwork Desktop, IDE plug-in and kwcheck users when your connected desktop project fails to synchronize with the server project. Synchronization problems are indicated with this icon: Image:syncproblemicon.pngMousing over the icon displays the sync error message.

You'll know Connected desktop and synchronization is working again when you see the Project is synchronized icon.
